My first hair perfume. I decided to go with a fragrance from ByRedo that I used to own as an eau de parfum. La Tulipe is a fantasy scent of a tulip flower. It is a lively spring floral fragrance, that creates a sense of cleanliness and rebirth. I love the freesia note in the composition of this fragrance. La Tulipe hair perfume smells very much alike its eau de parfum version.
The notes of the composition are:
Top: Cyclamen, Freesia, Rhubarb
Base: Blonde Woods, Vetiver
You can apply it directly to your hair like a hairspray, after setting your hair. Although I think that spraying your brush with the hair perfume and then brushing your hair, gives a more subtle and even application.
It is nice to have a product specifically designed to retain the fragrance in the hair. If you own the same eau de parfum, the hair perfume will amplify your experience of the fragrance, as you get whiffs of it from your hair. I tend to think of them as products that are in the same vein as perfumed body lotions and creams.
Personally, I will wear La Tulipe hair perfume with another perfume, possibly a clean musk floral fragrance. This will be a different kind of experimentation in layering fragrances.
